Gates Scholarship Awardee

The Nation extends its congratulations to Southampton graduating senior Sa'Naya Morris, who has been awarded The Gates Scholarship.

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly competitive, last-dollar scholarship for exceptional minority high school seniors. Each year, this scholarship is given to outstanding student leaders to help them reach their full potential.

Sa'Naya is the second Shinnecock student to receive this scholarship, following Lacina Onco in 2006.
