Congratulations to the Shinnecock Indian Nation Environmental Department on receiving a $750,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) Grant. This funding will support the Nation's Shinnecock Enhancement of Recycling and Composting Initiative, helping expand recycling services, improve waste collection, and strengthen environmental stewardship across our community. We are proud of the Environmental Department for securing this important investment in Shinnecock's future.
