In response to actions against the cultural and economic well-being of our sovereign nation, we have penned this Open Letter to New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, Attorney General Letitia James and the People of New York State. As the letter states, we are asking them, and each of you, to Stand With the Shinnecock Indian Nation as we defend our economic viability and urge the State of New York to drop its litigation.
