Request for Proposals (RFP) Project: Repainting of the Powwow Stage (“Drum”) The Shinnecock Powwow Committee is seeking proposals from community members, artists, or contractors interested in repainting the Powwow Stage, commonly known as the “Drum.” This structure is a central part of the Powwow grounds and holds cultural importance within our community. Nootimus "Noomie" Williams was honored by the Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance as the 2025 Driver of the Year. Noomie’s dedication, reliability, and commitment to serving the Southampton community helps ensure the crews and patients get where they need to go safely.

Congratulations to Shinnecock students Bryce Bess, Kodiak Tarrant, Sean Smith, Brandon Gardner and the rest of the Southampton High School Robotics Team "The Marinators" for winning first place at the FIRST Long Island Regional competition at Hofstra University. Next stop, FIRST Robotics World Championship in Texas next month.
